I want the viewer to be pulled into my subject before he or she begins to think about how I got there. I really enjoy painting people and the stories they have to tell. My automobile paintings evolved from these portraits and probe into the relationships between “man and machine”.

They combine realism and abstraction in a way that melds the familiar with the unexpected. I see them as characters filled with a narrative full of emotion, history and speculation. Where does humanity end and machine begin?
